• All UNCA members are cordially invited to a reception in celebration of the printing of the UNCA's 2009 Directory, to be held at the UNCA Club, Room 326, on Monday evening, June 29th 2009, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.  On this special occasion, we will say farewell to our colleague Laura Trevelyan of the BBC, who will be taking another position with the New York Bureau, and also to Omar Achy of Agence Maghreb Arabe Presse, who is returning to Morocco.

• Announcing the 14th Annual UNCA Awards Contest - Call for Submissions - The UNCA invites media worldwide to submit entries for its 14th Annual UNCA Awards for the best written and electronic media coverage of the United Nations, its agencies and field operations. In previous years the prizes have totaled over $30,000 and we expect to offer similar awards this year. details here
